Dawkins: Like it really is

23 Nov 2006 / 0 Comments / in going off on one, hellbound

I’m reading Richard Dawkins’ book ‘The God Delusion’ at the moment. A thousand thanks to my friend who bought me this life-affirming book. Such is the clarity of Dawkins’ arguments, which fit precisely the atheistic thoughts I have nurtured since I was eight years old, I feel like I have been given a new pair of eyes or that as I read I am breathing pure oxygen. This must be how it really is. There is evidence and rational argument and reason. I like reason best.
I clicked on his website and read these testaments from other people finally freed from damaging religious beliefs and now ‘come out’ as atheists.

Listen to Dawkins speak here. It’s a quite a big fat clip (not suitable for dial up) but is well-worth the effort for broadbanders. It’s inspirational.
